Looking for fresher looking skin and a more youth appearance?

A chemical peel is a scientific exfoliation process that penetrates deeper into the skin in order for the top layers of the skin to speed up skin cell turnover; this process stimulates collagen and increases cellular turnover to reveal new, fresh skin. They are perfect if you are experiencing hyper-pigmentation, overtly textured skin, discoloration, and acne scarring.

We have personally selected AlumierMD Peels as they are the next generation of clinical exfoliation; they are clean science and contain no “nasty chemicals” . With a variety of peels, each with a unique complex of ingredients, your therapist can customise your treatments to target your specific skin concerns and reveal a more radiant, soft and luminous skin.

How do peels work?

Chemical peels cause intentional damage to the epidermis and/or dermis with the goal of stimulating new tissue to improve skin texture and tone. Chemical peels have been used dating back to Ancient Egypt, when according to some course, Cleopatra used sour milk to improve the appearance of her skin. An acid is applied to the skin to lower the pH which loosens the protein connections between dead skin cells which results in an exfoliation and also stimulates new skin growth. Different acids cause peeling at different depths allowing us to perform superficial, medium and deep peels.
